The bible is the book of books. It is not just an ordinary book. It is a book written by God using inspired men. It contains the
story of the origin of man and the story of where man will go to after this life.
• Read it daily
• Read it systematically
• Read it prayerfully
• Go to it for the answers to your all your problems
• Listen to it patiently
• Apply it teachings to your life.
• You are doomed
• Your life shall not be well defined
• The devil will help you with a few passages quoted out of context to keep you blind
• Your family will lack direction
• Your eternal destiny is sealed.
• You will embrace doctrinal errors without even knowing
• You can be easily deceived
• You can be held captive by the devil
• You will be confused
• You will even think it is not inspired
• You will loose your spiritual bearing.
When a bible you bought 10 years ago is still looking clean, it is a signal that it is not being in constant use.
A young Christian packing his bag for a journey said to a friend, “I have nearly finished packing. All I have to put in are a
guidebook, a lamp, a mirror, a microscope, a telescope, a volume of fine poetry, a few biographies, a package of old letters, a
book of songs, a sword, a hammer, and a set of tools.” “But you cannot put all that into your bag,” objected the friend. “Oh, yes,”
said the Christian. “Here it is.” And he placed his Bible in the corner of the suitcase and closed the lid. -Anonymous
